Life is a Song...Sing it!

Hello Everybody

It has definitely been ages since I have written a post. So I have decided to do a review of 2015 as we come to an end of the current year, nothing too unusual...forms part of my year end ritual as it does for many.

Basically this has been a roll-a-coaster of a year, just like a song it has been filled with highs and lows and all sorts of crazy bass and treble. To give you a concise overview I have taken each of the 12 months and highlighted a couple of lessons and memories that stood out for me.The past year has not been the most positive or filled with unicorns and cupcakes as I had  thought it would be however the universe obviously chose to grow me for my highest good and not my most noble ego.

The year began with some goals I had set out to achieve out of which most were some how achieved.
I had some crazy ideas as to how the year was going to play out, obviously that happened....

The month of love,February taught me one of the most difficult lessons in life. Sometimes people closest to us will choose paths that do not serve them or us for our higher good but we have to let them be and meet everyone where they are. It is very correctly said that the best thing you can do for your loved one is that them learn their own lessons no matter how painful it may be. Our strength might take a blow but we will come out stronger.

March..hahaha...the good laugh. I shall keep it simple, nothing is or was written in stone!

April,my favourite month...Yes I am an Aries and my birthday month was not "dope" but the day was. It was well spent with my family in some self reflection time at a local Buddhist Temple and obviously food!Hello...food is my first love! The lesson...just take some effin time out for yourself because you deserve your attention more than the drama.

May..."striving in itself is a learning" Sadhguru best sums up my experiences during May.
June...Being a women is complicated, confusing, fun , amazing and the best thing in the world and perfectly compatible people of the opposite gender do exist...hahaha but most importantly sometimes obstacles open doors beyond your imagination and its a higher power for sure.

Pushing your physical boundaries teaches you something more about your limitless self .
The worst situations become your best friends so love them and be in it,feel every high and low within you,the emotions, the confusions and the clarity...its you!

November and December: phew! My musical instrument is my pair of tabla drums and they will forever teach lessons beyond the 8 beats and best music pieces. Sometimes you do not show up for yourself as you would like to..guess what! Its okay, forgive yourself and unlearn self sabotage...love your darn self! The truth is much better than false praise and it takes equal courage expressing it and accepting it. The very common saying  about if you love what you do,you`ll never have to work a day in your life...snap!Its true! So love what you do and if you cannot then just make peace with  where you are, what you have but most importantly just realise you are the true and only constant in your life so just be! and love those around you like a child. Just be in the moment and if you a person like I am,someone who regrets nothing and suddenly one day you do regret something, feel it,mourn it, try to correct it and then if it gives you flek...eff it and wave good bye to it...just follow your heart.

So here`s to another year , 2016...I pray it brings out the best in you and you learn more about yourself that helps you love you more!
Happy new year wonderful people of the world!

Be more of YOU!!!
Love
