Hello everyone
It's been a while since I have put pen to paper. I was hoping that this year would be a bit more easy on the soul but that obviously did not happen๐
I'm not really sure how I'm getting through each day but I am. Some days are crazy, it's like I need a plumber who can fix my eye leakage, it happens after I wake up,while I'm reading self empowering books, sometimes while driving and without a doubt while praying ,meditating and before I sleep.
Not to mention that this week's impulsive idiotic and lower self behaviour got me here,so I guess I should just be thankful for it since it did get me to blog after forever!!!๐
So here's what I learnt, I will come across idiots and they will make me wiser but because of them I should not respond like an idiot to genuine people and push them away in an instant of the fear of being hurt.
Okay so I really can't change what happen and I actually watched the video by Byron Katie about how I could have done it differently and I felt better (be sure to check out her you tube channel, some really relatable content )
So what's the point of sharing this here right? Here's what it is,a wiseman once told me "in life you will sometimes learn from your own mistakes and sometimes from other people's mistakes"
I'm hoping you can apply the latter in this case and learn from me that it's okay to be vulnerable and it's okay to show courage even when you afraid of pulling another into your storm,be this in friendships, romantic relationships or family relationships, just don't push them away because of your fear because after a while it won't be easy to bring them back and you'll be left feeling crazy. If you've done what I've done,it's okay, feel what you need to feel in instant of the fear of being hurt and let that bs stuff go. Journal it,scream it out,tap it out,cry it out ,yoga it out ,pray it out etc you get the idea. ...
Keep loving yourself even when you just cannot and remember that no matter what, the universe really does have your back!!!๐
Trying to stay present
Love

Life is a Song...Sing it!
Hello Everybody
It has definitely been ages since I have written a post. So I have decided to do a review of 2015 as we come to an end of the current year, nothing too unusual...forms part of my year end ritual as it does for many.
Basically this has been a roll-a-coaster of a year, just like a song it has been filled with highs and lows and all sorts of crazy bass and treble. To give you a concise overview I have taken each of the 12 months and highlighted a couple of lessons and memories that stood out for me.The past year has not been the most positive or filled with unicorns and cupcakes as I had thought it would be however the universe obviously chose to grow me for my highest good and not my most noble ego.
The year began with some goals I had set out to achieve out of which most were some how achieved.
I had some crazy ideas as to how the year was going to play out, obviously that happened....
The month of love,February taught me one of the most difficult lessons in life. Sometimes people closest to us will choose paths that do not serve them or us for our higher good but we have to let them be and meet everyone where they are. It is very correctly said that the best thing you can do for your loved one is that them learn their own lessons no matter how painful it may be. Our strength might take a blow but we will come out stronger.
March..hahaha...the good laugh. I shall keep it simple, nothing is or was written in stone!
April,my favourite month...Yes I am an Aries and my birthday month was not "dope" but the day was. It was well spent with my family in some self reflection time at a local Buddhist Temple and obviously food!Hello...food is my first love! The lesson...just take some effin time out for yourself because you deserve your attention more than the drama.
May..."striving in itself is a learning" Sadhguru best sums up my experiences during May.
June...Being a women is complicated, confusing, fun , amazing and the best thing in the world and perfectly compatible people of the opposite gender do exist...hahaha but most importantly sometimes obstacles open doors beyond your imagination and its a higher power for sure.
Pushing your physical boundaries teaches you something more about your limitless self .
The worst situations become your best friends so love them and be in it,feel every high and low within you,the emotions, the confusions and the clarity...its you!
November and December: phew! My musical instrument is my pair of tabla drums and they will forever teach lessons beyond the 8 beats and best music pieces. Sometimes you do not show up for yourself as you would like to..guess what! Its okay, forgive yourself and unlearn self sabotage...love your darn self! The truth is much better than false praise and it takes equal courage expressing it and accepting it. The very common saying about if you love what you do,you`ll never have to work a day in your life...snap!Its true! So love what you do and if you cannot then just make peace with where you are, what you have but most importantly just realise you are the true and only constant in your life so just be! and love those around you like a child. Just be in the moment and if you a person like I am,someone who regrets nothing and suddenly one day you do regret something, feel it,mourn it, try to correct it and then if it gives you flek...eff it and wave good bye to it...just follow your heart.
So here`s to another year , 2016...I pray it brings out the best in you and you learn more about yourself that helps you love you more!
Happy new year wonderful people of the world!
Be more of YOU!!!
Love

Tea Bag Tricks.. What are you doing with your tea bags?
Hello Amazing People
Weekends can be amazing but the late nights resulting from weekends .... not so pretty right! Try this simple herbal tea trick.
Try the following ,ensure your skin is clean and make up free.
Dip cotton makeup pads into your brewed green tea or rooibos tea
Apply the cotton pad to your eyes while they warm not burning hot tho
Leave this till the eye pads cool off and repeat as many times as you like
or....yes there`s more you can do to recycle your tea bags
use the warm tea bag and massage it on to your face in circular motions and rinse your face with cool water and apply a moisturiser...
or...
Empty the contents of your tea bag and add 1-1 and a half teaspoon of honey and mix well. Rub the mixture similar to an exfoliating product and leave it on your skin for 5-10 minutes. Thereafter rinse with cool water and apply a moisturiser.
Lastly if you really not doing anything much with used tea bags, simply add the contents into your garden soil so it can decompose and that might be your act towards helping preserve resources...recycling rocks!!!
Remember to drink your tea mindfully as well!
Stay present and wise!!!
Much love and light!

Healthy = Happy
Hello Awesome People!
Its green juice time!!!
Green juicing is fun , easy, healthy and has many benefits including elevating your spiritual mindset. Today I share one such recipe. Try it out and tell me in the comments if it was a hit or flop and how you made it your version. Also share some of your own recipes!
Ginger root piece to suit your pallet
2 green apples
1 peeled orange
1-2 handfuls of spinach/baby spinach
2-4 carrots depending on your pallet
1/4 to 1/2 cucumber
a pinch of turmeric
Juice it up,you may also re-juice the pulp,I personally like to do that.
I like to drink my juices as soon as they juiced but if my schedules tight i juice in the morning for my lunch fun and supper sweetness. Sometimes I juice for 1 meal a day and other times for 2 or all 3. It all depends on you , so find what works and stick with it.
Lastly, I would like to say, an optimistic outlook to life is equally important!
